Carroll, I think perhaps my request to you got itself lost in cyberspace.
Whenever you get a chance, could you please look up the following two people
in the census for me?
In Philadelphia Co., James WRAY, b 1765 @ Co. Donegal, Ireland, marr Eliza
FINLEY, of Chambersburg, Franklin Co., PA., bef 1837. They lived in
Philadelphia for all of their married lives (I think!). He died in 1863 (and
I've forgotten which census year you were looking up!)
In Franklin Co., Eliza FINLEY, b 1806 @ Chambersburg, Franklin Co., PA. She
died in 1884 in Kennebunkport, ME, but I THINK she still lived in
Philadelphia. I know that both she and James are buried in Laurel Hill Cem,
in or near Philadelphia. Her father's name was John FINDLEY/FINDLAY/FINLEY;
he died ca 1843-46 in Franklin Co.
I really appreciate all the work you're putting in on this project!
