Kathy: I have worked with many Wills in my former line of work. But I have
also researched several in my genealogy research. I have an appraisal of my
Revolutionary War ancestor, which is very interesting. When a person died
appraisers were appointed by the court to list all property that the
deceased owned, and to record the value in money of each item. In the
appraisement/inventory that I am referring to of mine, it listed velvet
pantaloons, bible, grain in the barn and his 200 acres of property, etc.
What part of it don't you understand? Maybe I can help.
