The following person is buried in Hopkinton MA. Can anyone connect
him with Kerry, probably Waterville area?
Here is what I have on Patrick D.
1855 MA state census p. 22 Patrick DONNEHO, age 19, and Patrick
DONEHUE, also 19
1859 Patrick Dennahy is witness at the marriage of JOHN Dennahy in
Milford MA. Patrick thought to have a brother, Michael F, sons of
Martin Danahy, etc., and Mary Brennan. Martin said to be the son of
a Philip DANAHY.
1865 MA state census Patrick DONEHEE, age 30, m to Katy (Sullivan),
age 22, son James is 2 and they live on Pleasant St where the family
will live for the rest of the century.
Nov. 7, 1870 Patrick DANAHY is naturalized on the same day as JOHN.
I don't yet have the papers but the info is that he claims to be born
in 1837 and to have entered the U. S. March 13, 1851.
He died Nov. 25, 1901. The copy of the death certificate has his
father as Martin and his mother as Mary Braymur. The Hopkinton
Library sheets have Sarah Connelly as his mother. Baptism records
from the Archdiocese show Patrick and Catherine Sullivan having the
children. James F. seems to be he first one, baptized in oct. 1863.
So I surmise that my John and Patrick were more than drinking
buddies. and Patrick was in Hopkinton early on. Waddaya know?
