Hi all

I found this weekend a reference to a :

Dr Edward FLINT, Chief Surgeon of the Rgt of Col Timothy RUGGLES, during the
1758 Crown Point, NY engagement.

1. Is anyone doing the FLINT surname??

2. Does anyone have a source for Surgeons/Drs in this time period?

3. T RUGGLES commanded Mass. Militia

4. I am interested in knowing if Dr FLINT later served in the next war and
if so with the Continentals or the Loyalists. If with the Loyalists, did he
mig to Nova Scotia?
Of course, he might have been advanced in age as was RUGGLES, and might not
have actively participated in that War.
