I am working on Simonds Family Tree I have it up to George Alphanso
Simonds I am looking for Theodore SIMONDS. I have found Theodore in 1850 in
Lawrence, Mass got married same year 1850. He was 22 then,1870 said he was
38.Theodore was father to GEORGE. His wife died in Burlington,Vt 1894 says
she was a widow to Theodore in1886.They had a daughter that was born in
Jericho,Vt. in 1863.
Everything I fine on him is in Lawrence,Mass but they say Lawrence
wasn't
established until 1850. I have a feeling his wife left went to Vermont after
he died but
in 1870 doesn't mention his wife maybe she left him I have notice they drink
pretty
bad.
I went down in Mass last summer tried to fine him but no luck they told
me to check Andover found nothing also Methuen I didn't have time to get
there. I wrote them they said nothing can't always go by that. I went to the
Library in Lawrence
I didn't fine much found he was a shoemaker 1848.
In 1870 Census his location was Lawrence 1st Ward can anybody tell me
what 1st Ward mean.
Does anybody have the census of 1880 or 1860 could you look and see if
you could fine him there or any other time.
Can anybody help me on any of this. Thank You.
