The biggest advantage, in my opinion a huge advantage, is that the NEHGS has
a circulating library of thousands of books which can be borrowed through
the mail (you can order them online). I usually order two or three books at
a time at a cost of about $6.00 each plus shipping. You can keep the books
for two weeks. Over the past five or six years, I've found so much
information in books I've borrowed from them, it's hard to imagine not being
able to use such a wonderful resource.

Subject: [GM-L] NEHGS

Can someone tell me what the advantages of joining the New England Ancestors
would be?  I belong to Ancestry.com, would this NEHGS be worth it to me? I
am
a student, and it would only be $20.00, but $20.00 is still $20.00, and if I
am getting it somewhere else already.....

Thanks,

Molly
