I am researching ANDREWS and BURNHAM from Maine and Mass.

John C. ANDREWS m. Matilda J. (last name unknown). From information given
on the 1880 Massachusetts Census, I calculate Matilda to be born about 1843.

This family seems to have moved around quite a lot as they had a daughter
Jennie born about 1843 in Mass. Their son Texas Hayworth ANDREWS was born
about 1866 in Fryeburg, Maine. Another son, John was born about 1870 in
Illinois and a daughter Mabel was born about 1877 in Mississippi. In 1880
Matilda was living at #3 Douglas Street in South Boston (Suffolk) with her
children. There was no mention of her husband but she was not listed as
widowed so he may have been working elsewhere.

Texas married Lavina R. BURNHAM who was born 11 July 1872 in Charlestown
(Boston), Massachusetts. She was the daughter of Horace P. BURNHAM (born
about 1824 in Alford, Maine) and Margaret J. (last name unknown), born about
1831 in Lowell, Maine.

Children of Texas & Lavina (Vernie) ANDREWS:
Robert C. ANDREWS b. March 28, 1892 in Malden, Massachusetts.
Mabel Adelaide ANDREWS b. Sept. 16, 1893 in Malden, MA.
Another daughter (name unknown) b. about 1895. Two more children were born
in Canada.

Other children of Horace P. BURNHAM and Margaret J.:
Celia b. about 1855 in Mass.
Winfield S. b. 24 April 1861 in Charlestown, Mass.
George E. b. about 1865 in Charlestown, Mass.
Horace M. b. about 1867 in Charlestown, Mass.

In the 1880 Census this family was living at 165 Chelsea Street in
Charlestown. In the 1890 Boston Directory, Margaret J. is listed as "widow
of Horace P." but is still at 165 Chelsea with George E. and Winfield S.
BURNHAM. There is also a Jennie M. BURNHAM also listed as a widow.

Does anyone have any information on these families?
