Dear Eleanor,
No, Abraham and Roger are distinct lines and were among the earliest Shaw
settlers in the Colonies. As for the "many generations connected to one
Roger Shaw," I assume you're referring to my two distinct Shaw lines - Roger
(1594-1661) and Seth (1760-1837). Their descendants, Lyman Philander Shaw
and Adaline Washburn Shaw, respectively, married. They were not known to be
related. Sorry, but I don't find a Byram among my surnames and Abraham the
First is not connected in any manner.
Best wishes, Jane
Jane Luise Shaw, 12th generation direct descendant of Roger Shaw (1594-1661).
