So good of you to offer look-ups...you'll undoubtedly be swamped! Would you
look up William Bassett who came on the Fortune in 1621. He was married to
an Elizabeth (possibly Tilden). Also his son, Nathaniel, who married (2)
Dorcas Joyce. Where did you get such a treasure? I'd love to get my hands
on it! Thanks lots. Leslie Robison
Charles Henry Pope's "Pioneers of Massachusetts" says this:

at Sandwich in 1650. Removed to Bridgewater. Wife Elizabeth and ch. William
and Elizabeth shared in the division of cattle in 1627. Sons Nathaniel B.
and Peregrine White had deed of land from him in 1656. Dau. Elizabeth m.

He d. at Bridewater in 1667. Will dated 3 (2) probated 5 June, 1667,

I got my copy of Pope's book (thick paperback) from HERITAGE BOOKS,
INC. 1540 Pointer Ridge Place, Bowie, Maryland 20716, (301) 390-7709.
They also have a web site that givs their 800 number. You can send
for a free catalog. The listings change frequently so if you don't fine
Pope's book in it, just ask them. I paid about $35 for it.
