I have no connection with this family surname but I found this and
thought it might be of interest to you.
Charles Henry Pope's "Pioneers of Massachusetts" say this:
DUNHAM
John, weaver, Plymouth, freeman 1633, deacon, deputy, town officer.
He d. March 2, 1668-9. Will dated January 25, 1668, beq. to sons John,
Benajah and Daniel; son-in-law Stephen Wood; to the rest of my children that
are not designated in this my last will twelve pence apiece if they demand
it; to wife Abigail.

Samuel, who was in Plymouth at about 1643, propr. freeman, 1 June 1647,
and Joseph, age about 41, deposed 3 March, 1677, age about 51 years, that
their gather gave certain lands to their bro-in-law Benajah Pratt.
