My GGgrandfather was Franklin Arthur Pierce born February 9 1851-1856.
I have 4 documents that says he was born in Mass. no parents names. On his
death cert. it says father Franklin and mother Betsy Colvert. It also says he
was born in Derby, CT. Which he was not? His father I believe was a carpenter.
Sometime ago someone was so kind to look it up for me and in the move to my
new house, I lost it. They found an Arthur Franklin Pierce and father was a
carpenter.
If someone can help I would appreciate it.
My 94 year old grandmother says we are related somehow to Pres. Pierce
