Rather than accuse anyone of spreading a virus, I am sending along the
anti-virus, firewall
system (freely shared online) that I use. It is given by Aladdin Company who
also freely
shares their Unzip application. It automatically scans incoming email and
flashes if there
is a virus. It scans your website if you own one and disallows access to
anyone with a
virus. It will scan your A drive (your diskettes), C, D. E & F drives.
Therefore there is
no need to fear incoming email. It will warn you and, you can warn the
sender. I have
received several emails from the person accused, I have downloaded the
material to disk.
The send was/is clean.

eSafe Desktop v3.0
A complete personal security solution for Internet users, it offers ICSA and
Checkmark certified anti-virus protection anti-virus checking, application
based firewall, Internet content filtering based on keyword, URL, port and
protocol as well as Anti-vandal protection using eSafe's unique Sandbox II
technology. eSafe is the first content security solution to offer
comprehensive protection from vandals (malicious mobile code, Trojans, worms,
VB/JavaScript), viruses, data exposure and inappropriate content. The
Application Firewall monitors any desktop application that attempts to access
the Internet, and requests authorization for each application. This feature
prevents spying software such as Trojans and backdoors from accessing the
Internet from your PC. eSafe's additional System Protection feature
constantly monitors suspicious behaviour, usually associated with malicious
code. These applications might be vandals which can steal or corrupt
information using various techniques. The SandboxII is a proactive security
module, constantly monitoring both your computer and Internet for hostile
activity, ready to intervene the moment a potential threat is identified.
When any form of malicious code attempts hostile activity, eSafe traps and
quarantines the vandal within the Sandbox, alerting users to the vandal’s
activity and allowing you to take appropriate action without risk of damaging
mission-critical information. [Download] [Home Page] [Freeware] [Size: 10MB]
