We have reached problems with our COLLINS line - Linda's grandfather Francis John COLLINS.
In April 1933,he became a naturalised british subject and his certificate states he was born in Boston MA 7 July 1891 the son of Maurice & Ida COLLINS.
Prior to his naturalisation, he lived an worked in India with his earliest mention being in the Indian Army 1915. How he got to India,who with and why we do not know.
We have asked some genealogy contacts in Boston to check the archives for his birth but have been told there is no record there.
Are there other archives that we could check or would any other lister be able to help.
We would be happy to do look ups in Hampshire UK in return.
