had the
complete coverage of the murder by the Boston Herald. She snail mailed me the
newspaper articles and I will transcribe the story - posting in several

Mrs. Maria L. Crue was murdered on January 17, 1880, in her house near
the Ridges, by Stearns Kendall Abbott, who is now serving in the State
Prison a life sentence for the crime.

arrest and conviction of the person or
persons who murdered Mrs. Maria L.
