Subject: [GM-L] 1731 Disbute of the Attelboro Gore

I am looking for additional information on the dispute between Rhode Island and Mass. over the Attelboro Gore. I know the land was given to RI in 1747. I have found one reference to it, in 1731, Henry Joslin was released from Imprisonment in Providence for his illegal participation in the dispute over the Gore. The Joslin family were originally residents of Mass. I am wondering what caused the dispute and what type of court records or documents exist that may explain the dispute and the eventual resolution.
