Our family recently found a wedding announcement in an old MEAD family Bible.
We know nothing about this part of the family and would appreciate hearing
from any of you that may have additional information, no matter how small the
detail. Here is the information from the announcement:

Marriage Ceremony, Tuesday Evening, August 1st 1871 at 8 o'clock, at the
residence of J.D. Mead, Medford St. Somerville (MA)
Mary A. Jones
Marcellus W. Mead

I can hear a few of you laughing already ::trying to find information on a
Mary Jones:: All we have on this family is a notation from a diary in 1916
refering to an Aunt Mary. Please send any information.
