Dear all,

This virus is called the bugbear. The .exe is simply the executable name
that the virus copies itself to. This name can be completely random so
looking for the file name will not always be successful. Furthermore,
Norton AntiVirus, dispite all previous misconceptions, will indeed catch
and delete this virus without a problem. I am a virus removal engineer at
the worlds largest security company and we have spent a good amount of
time working with this virus. If you have Norton AntiVirus, then simply
run LiveUpdate and make sure that your virus definitions are up-to-date.
Definitions dated 1-10-2003 are the latest as of Jan. 13th. Once this is
done, then perform a full system scan. If for some reason you are already
infected, then go to www.sarc.com and dowload the bugbear removal tool.
This will remove the virus so you can then reinstall and update you
AntiVirus software. Please do not reply to this message as it is being
sent from a friends computer.
