I've monitored this great group helping each other and learned much but finances and this brick wall has me ready to let G-Pa go. Maybe if someone in Va. would check the 1820 Census for me, and let me know if James A Osborn b.1818 in Jefferson, Va. had parents. He claims in the 1880 Ill. census that he did and their state of birth was Vt. Thanks for all the wonderful info. You have taught me much. Again Thanks, Juanita
