If anyone is familiar with the family of Timothy & Sarah (---) Caswell of
Taunton & Berkley, MA., perhaps you can help me with some new information
that has come my way. I have been told by someone that Mary Caswell, b
6 Mar 1724/5 to Timothy & Sarah was the Mother of the George Towsend I
have been trying to find parents for. Mary did, (according to MD 36:192)
marry a John Townsend but I have not been able to go any further to see
if they did indeed have a son George born about 1745/6 who md. Persis
Rice and moved from Brookfield, MA to Bethel, Vermont. Unfortunately this
new information sent to me has not all been documented/proved and this
person is a newbie who inherited information / "research" done by other
family members, so much needs to be proved/disproved. If there is a
descendant out there who knows something, I would appreciate hearing
about it. And... thanks.
