Dear Author,

Are you going to Attend NGS? (May 28-June 1, 2003, Pittsburgh). If so, we
would like to invite you to hold a book signing for your recent book(s) at
the National Genealogical Society Conference in Pittsburgh. If you cannot
attend, then see the 2nd option listed below.

Option 1. Yes, we have recently published a book and will be attending the
NGS Conference.

This year the Godfrey Memorial Library is sponsoring 4 days of book signings
at our booth during the NGS Conference. We would like to invite you to
display your book(s) and hold a book signing during the conference.

Who: All Authors/Publishers of recent Genealogy or Local History
Book(s)
What: Time, Location for you to hold a Book Signing to let others
know about
your work and to promote your recent book(s)
When: May 28-June 1, 2003.
Wed, Thurs, Fri: 9am to 5pm; Sat: 9am to 4pm
Each book signing will last ½ hour.

Authors/Publishers can sign-up reserve the time slots on a first
come,
first serve basis
Where: NGS Exhibit Hall. Pittsburgh: Godfrey Memorial Library Booth
How: Call: 860.346.4375 to sign up for your time slot.
Cost: Free.

Note: Authors, publishers are responsible to bring their recent
book(s) to the
exhibit hall.
Authors/publishers are responsible for all sales, sales taxes
etc.

The Library will:
+ Post a daily flier to announce the day's schedule of Book
Signings.
+ Post a list of all books featured at the conference on the
Internet at:
www.Godfrey.Org

Option 2. If you cannot attend the NGS Conference.

Even if you are not able to attend the NGS Conference, the Library would
like to assist
you to let others know about your work and to promote your book.

Please send two copies of the book(s) you would like displayed at the
conference along
with ordering information.

What: The Library:
1. Will display Your Book(s) at the Conference
2. Will produce and distribute a catalog of all books submitted
3. Will post this catalog on their website at: www.Godfrey.org

Cost: Free.
(The copies of the books will not be returned to you.)

When: Copies of the book(s) and ordering information must be received
by:
Monday May 19th.
