Some time ago I was sent information that had come from the Town Clerk of
Medfield, MA for the birth of Eliazar Hill (this is the way the clerk
spelled the first name) June 29, 1664, Medfield, Mass; Father John Hill
and Mother Hanna Johnson, both of Medfield.
This is the ONLY place that I have actually seen a "positive" surname for
Hannah whose last name has been in debate for years, it seems. What I am
now wondering is: did the marriage of John Hill and Hannah (<Johnson>)
take place here or not? Is there any other marriage that might be listed
for a John Hill of Medfield? Maybe someone reading this query is
familiar with this family who does know where/when John and wife Hannah
were married?
