Subject: [GM-L] Joseph Knowlton (1771 - 1823) and Betsy Johnson

Seeking information about a Joseph Knowlton, son of Timothy Knowlton,
born somewhere in Mass; according to Virkus (which is where I found him
years ago), he moved to Salisbury, VT; to LeRoy, then to Clarkson,
Monroe, NY; md. 1804, Betsy Johnson who d. 1863. He may be a brother to
my Mary Knowlton and if so, information about Joseph might lead me to new
clues/leads in my Knowlton research that still has much lacking in data.
And -- maybe this could also provide me with new clues to my Johnson
ancestors in Clarkson & Sweden, Monroe county, NY.

I long ago extracted all that I could out of those two Knowlton genealogy
books when I had access to them (I do not now) but did not track Joseph
at the time, I overlooked him because he is not my ancestor.
