I am trying to help a friend out with some research on her family. I
believe I found the people she is looking for in the 1880 census in
Somerville, Mass. Their names are Rebecca C. & Frederick Miller(sometimes
spelled Millar). I know that he was dead by 1896 and she had moved to
Portland, Maine. Does anyone have access to the 1860 or 1870 federal census
or 1865 state census for Somerville or perhaps a city directory for that
time period? We would like to find out when they immigrated to
Massachusetts. She was from Prince Edward Island, Canada. Any help would
be greatfully appreciated!
