The question of which is best may be moot as this month's issue of Family
Tree magazine says that "MyFamily, owner of online genealogy giant
Ancestry.com, <www.ancestry.com> has acquired Genealogy.com
<www.genealogy.com>, producer of the top-selling Family Tree Maker
software." They are both owned by the same company or corporation and may
or may not combine their efforts but they will probably not compete as much
as previously.
