Charles Henry Pope's "Pioneers of Massachusetts" doesn't have a listing
for William Barrett, so I have to presume that he probably came over after the
1650 "cut off year" of Pope's book. With his birth year of about 1629, that
would put him at a logical age to be coming over, some time in his early 20s.
I did, however, find listings of immigrant families with the surnames of his
wives, who had daughters with the right first names. Let me know which wives
you're interested in & I can send you that information.
