What can I say you have been a great help. Many thanks from all those this side of the water i.e. the Jones, Teague, Wigley, Davies and Morgan families.
It is most disappointing that Esther died a few months ago, a loss of all that detail knowledge about Thomas’s life in the states, as it was through Esther that I found Thomas in the first place. I now think that Thomas went to live with a relation when he was a small child, that is why he was missing off the census data, and carrying a name of “Jones” in Wales made it impossible to find him.
I am going to try the Norfolk List next.
There must be still living relations in that area.
