According to the "Redbook," Salisbury was formed in 1639. Parent town was
Colchester.

loooooooooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnngggggggggggg walk into the other bedroom
to get that from my bookshelf :-)

So, you'd be right: it didn't exist in 1612, nor 1627.
