Although there are often descreancies on the LDS site it can be a very
god guideline for finding information. I have found that often the
dates ae incorrect but that for the most part the information
concerning persons listed has at least some truth to it. Last year I
foud my great great grandparents who had lived in Independence Iowa and
then moved to Archer City Texas. My grandmother who died when I was in
my 40s had provided what I thought was complete informatin about her
grandparents children. One day last year I found an extra daughter
listed on the LDS site. I didn't put much store by it as I thought my
information was complete. Then in APril I was in Independence and found
the grave stone for this litte daughter who died when she was a todler.
I also found the names of three other sons who had died prior to the
family leaving Iowa. If I had not had that hint on the LDS site I
might have never felt the need to go to Independence and see for
myself. JUDIE
