Ray and All,

Have you tried freetranslations.com ? I used this site to write to my
daughter while she was in France. She was there for the summer with a
University/language program and not allowed to speak or write in English.
(I don't speak French)
Verb tense, articles, and few minor things did not translate well, but
passages could still be read easily.
