Dear Listers,
Living contemporarily in Belarus I am
trying to help a family who lost the connection with the relatives they
immigrated to USA.
Antoni Bogdanowicz was born in a village Downarowszczyzna. He came to US
probably 1918 - 1925. Then his wife Jo~zefa b. Z~ywicka with their son and
daughter came to him in 30-thies. The children were born in Odceda in
20-thies.
The last residence in Poland was Odceda (might be also written Otceda),
town formerly in Poland, now Belarus.
The family in Odceda corresponded with them, but after the WW2 when this
part of Poland became communist Belarus they refused to accept the letters
since it was dangerous to declare any relations with Western World and the
relations lost.
Big thanks for any help and hint
Best regards
Józef of Warsaw, Poland
