Hello,

I was wondering if anyone has discovered who the parents were and what the
"line" was of .. Capt. John MOORE .. of Bedford, MA, of "April 19, 1775"
fame. He seems to have had well-known military career, but
I don't see any on-line information on which family he came from.

I have found several web sites discussing Capt. MOORE and his participation
on .. April 19, 1775 .. events. And, he served ..well.. in the military
for a while after that.

But, I cannot find out whom his parents were. He was reportedly born in
March 1728/29, where?, and died in 1807 in Bedford, MA.

My "guess" is that he was descended from either one of two .. John MOORE's
in the nearby vicinity: John MOORE of early 1600's Sudbury, MA, who many
people have researched, and John MOORE of early 1600's Cambridge, MA, who
seems to have had very few (on-line) people researching. (I am told
there were TWO John MOORE's in MA at the same time.) (And, that does not
include the John MOORE who very soon after arriving moved to Windsor, CT.)
