I have the marriages for Boston, MA for 1673 to 1677 typed up and in an
MS Excel file. If someone would be willing to type the surmanes in
another col. for the Boston GenWeb I would appreciate it. (915 records)
This should only take about 1/2 to 3/4 Hours to do, a good typest can do
it faster. Looking at the line for the surname is the longest part.
From there I can import the file into MS Access where I write a report
for the web. In Access they can be in any order so I just left them in
the order that they were in. For an example of the report I have Access
set up in Access just visit:
http://bos-gw.rays-place.com/bbt.htm

If your time is short, you can just do a few at a time over a week or
so, I am in no hurry for them, would rather have it take longer and be
accurate. Doing it to fast can cause errors like you will see in Admas
on the test page where I put Adams in place of Armitage on one line
(That will be fixed before the next run of it).

When some one is willing to do this part it will leave me more time to
type up more years to go online. If you have been helped with your
research on the net this is one way of helping other in return.

Someone else is doing the ones for 1678 to 1683 at this time. When we
get these all together it will make a good report for the Boston GenWeb
site.

I know that most on this list do not live near Boston and don't have
access to these records, so putting them online is one way that I can
help make what I have avilable to you. If you are in another part of the
Country you probably have access to things that those of us in New
England and other parts of the country don't. If you type up what you
have and have it put online someplace (local GenWeb, your own site, or
donate to another) it will help others even if not of use to yourseft.
By all of us doing that it will make finding things online better.

If anyone has any listings of Births in Boston after 1699 and would be
willing to share them the Boston GenWeb would be willing to post them.
Also any records for Charlestown.

Cheers
