I have some thoughts about the old cemeteries in Boston I'd like to share. Since many of you have seen the same thing in old cemeteries in your genealogical pursuits.

Thousands of people walk through the pathways of the Old Granary and King's Chapel Cemetery. I was amazed to see so many gravestones in disrepair! I know Parks and Recreation in some towns take care of the old town cemeteries. Just wondering why there isn't ongoing care given to some of Boston's old and finest. Especially with all the colleges around - it would make great learning projects. Just thought I'd mention this. Seems a shame to see history crumbling away...
