My great grandfather Wilson E. Ryder b: 1869 Yarmouth, Barnstable, MA son of
Sarah Etta Bray and George Ryder he was the first birth ever listed in US
news or so I've been told. It was in the Yarmouth or Yarmouthport Gazette
would like to know if anyone has any information on this fact! I'm unsure of
his exact date only the year even though I've sent for his and his mother's
birth record. Yarmouth sent me a copy of vitals saying their births were in
Barnstable and they are not there. Needless to say all records like marriage
and death all say Yarmouth! Would anyone know where I can find a copy of
this paper? Thank you Wanda of ME and yes I've tried
the Sturgis but they need his birth date not just the year.
