My Ggrandfather's older brother, Binney Lombard Fish, was 'lost at sea during the Civil War'. this is the only description I have of him and his involvement in the war.

It seems to me that there may have been some mention of it in a paper that would have been available to a reader in Duxbury Ma. at the time.
I have been unable to obtain the name of one and if images may be available in ufilm. Can anyone give me an idea of where to begin looking? I have tried libraries up there with little or no success. I am prepared to make a trip up there if it will help.
