I should have checked first, but the 1900 Census has Carleton Homer
HUTCHINSON living in Arlington with his wife, "Carrie," and baby daughter,
Gladys. I think this might have been a 2nd marriage for Carleton.
The 1920 Census shows Carleton in Hanover, MA (Plymouth Co.). I cannot
access the actual page, so I don't know who is living with him. He is Age
I'm not finding him in the 1900 Census - under the correct spelling of his
name. But, that would be the time when he would have been "in the
military." IF he was in the Navy, and, if he was "out to sea" in 1900,
would he show up on any census sheets?
Thank you for your time.
Betty (near Lowell, MA)
