Hi Steve,
Thank you very much for the look-ups. This HUTCHINSON family was almost
always in Arlington and Winchester, at least in their growing up years, so
Carleton would probably have been born in Winchester.
And, I had seen the two different names for wives, so I had guessed there
were 2 marriages. I'll have to review my notes during the week, because
I think Gladys HUTCHINSON headed to NH and I hadn't found out what happened
to her after that.
I can get Census information from Heritage Quest from the Library's web
site. But, almost every time I try to use it .. at least one of the
census sheets doesn't download onto the screen for me. I only get the top
2" where the headings are, and possibly one or two names. I don't know
whether it's just a fluke - or whether too many people are accessing the
site at the same time. It's very strange.
