Natalie, You have your John Buss married to Mehitabel Streeter. Do you
know that is correct, or do you know if it is possible that was a second
marriage for her?

The reason I ask is that I found a couple of things, one is a newspaper
classified ad from 1802 in a Worcester paper placed by a John Buss.
There was at least one other John Buss in Worcester County at the time,
however this ad is to inform the public that this John Buss has been
appointed executor for the estate of a Fortunatus Eager "late of
Sterling." The name Fortunatus caught my attention, of course, and I
see that in Lancaster, where I think your John may have been born, there
was a "Mehetibel daugh'r to Fortunatus & Thamer Eager b. Aug 21, 1764."

Naturally I'm thinking that this Mehitabel was the one who married the
John Buss and had a son Fortunatus. What are your thoughts about
that--is it a possibility?
