There are several Narcisse Gagnon and Elie Gagnon listed in MA in this time
period, but the birth years do not seem to mesh.

estimated birth years
Narcisse Gagnon 1827, 1856, 1876 ( all in 1910 census) 1858 (1920
census)
Elie Gagnon 1876, 1884 (1910 census) 1864, 1868, 1874 (1920 census)

Not sure if this will help or not.
