I'm curious as to why the community allows the removal of cemeteries.
Roadwork? Will they record who and where the remains are moved? I would
wonder if it is possible to remove all remains.

Portland Maine has British officers from the Revolution buried in Eastern
Cemetery next to Colonial officers. It was a Naval battle of the coast of
Portland. [Of course we were then Massachusetts.]
