Janice:
I would suggest looking in the Library of Congress
for other letters by this man. They have a good site
that has many of the letters from the Revolutionary
War. He may also have corresponded with George
Washington. You may be able to narrow him down
there. I haven't checked there lately but it has a
wealth of information.
