DAR Patriots Index (1967) lists my two ancestors Benjamin
Stowell, Jr. (1726-1786) and his son Israel Stowell (1753-1844)
as patriots and lists Israel as a recipient of a pension. Benjamin,
Jr. did not recieve maybe because he died in 1786.

Different orders and socities in addition to vital records verified my
Stowell lineage of Hingham, Plymouth Co. MA as follows:

1. Samuel Stowell (1620-1683) + Mary Ann Farrow
2. Benjamin Stowell, Sr. (1676-1730) + Mrs. Ruth Ward Bates
3. Benjamin Stowell, Jr. (1726-1786) + Susannah Hersey
4. Israel Stowell (1753-1844) + Lydia Mansfield
5. Henry Stowell (1797-1825) + Mary Anna Gifford
6. Joanna Stowell (1821-1903) + __(private)__
7. Private
8. Private
9. Private
10. Myself
