For those who are interested, the Canton MA Historical Society has an article about the Gridley Graveyard at its site: www.geocities.com/Heartland/Hills/1496/canton.html. The Colonel's new burial site is at the entrance to the Canton Corner Cemetery. Incidentally, one of Canton's early schools was named for him and is now used as a child care center.
