Janice,
Thanks for posting this. Found my 7th great grandfather John Jordan
there. I knew his will was probated at Dorchester and that his daughters
were baptised and married at Milton. Still don't know where he came from or
who his parents were, but now know that he resided at Canton and not
Dorchester.
Wonder what happened to these leaseholders at the end of their term.
Think the State ever gave them clear title?
