The basic research on the English records for Thomas Ford was published
by Jacobus and Torrey in 1939. In this article are some records of a Thomas
Ford of Powerstock, Dorsetshire, England which may or may not be revelant
to our Thomas Ford. Torrey had earlier presented evidence on Aaron Cooke
which
showed that he was stepson rather than son-in-law of Thomas Ford.
