The exciting years in Vermont after the Revolution - Colonel John Chipman,
a Green
Mountain Boy was the first Grand Master of the first Masonic Lodge in
Vermont.
The last pages of the book describe the horrendous time of the Anti-Masonic
Movement
which hit Vermont very hard and its fight to survive. Several of those
particularly great
"fight" speeches Vermonters were so good at. Again my thanks to Toni Feeney

Vermont "Records of the Grand Lodge of Free and accepted masons of the State of
