I so agree with you about the Archives of the mail lists, with one
exception. Most often, in the case of older messages, the senders email
address is not the same. It's pretty frustrating to find something that
might help, only to find you can't reach the sender! :)))

I also use the Archives to see if I want to join a list - to see what's
going on, if you will. Along with checking lists I've unsubbed from to
see if there's any new material on my missing ancestors.

All in all, the Archives can be a great help.
