Just had an email from Elinor Skeate - author of some 30 books and
newsletter on Groton
and other Middlesex, Mass. towns. She solved the riddle of the missing
children of Caleb
Blood of Groton. Only 13 of 27 children were on record. Here is the reason
Here is what I have about Hannah Holden and Elizabeth Farnsworth and Caleb
*HANNAH HOLDEN She was said to be the mother of 18 children, of whom 13 died
*Hannah Holden, b. June 24, 1735, Groton, MA, d. there Sept. 1, 1773, dau. of
Lt. John and Sarah (Davis) Holden. She M. Nov. 1, 1753 to CALEB BLOOD, b.
Nov. 23, 1734, Groton, MA, d. Dec. 9, 1804, son of John and Joanna (Nutting)
Blood. He M. (2) ELIZABETH FARNSWORTH, b. Mar. 24, 1750, Groton, MA, d. Dec. 9,
1819, dau. of Isaac and Anna (Green), 18 chi. by Hannah, 13 d. y, 8 by

Hannah Blood wife of Mr. Caleb Blood. She departed this Life Sep lst l773,
Aged 38 yrs l month and 26 days. Note: The daughter of John and Sarah (DAVIS)

Here is what I have of Caleb Blood's children. 13 of his 27. What I need
can access the Blood family Memorial - is who his 3rd wife was and the names
the other 14 children. As you can see it is recorded that he has 27 and
the Blood Memorial for the other of the 27 children. Anyone?
