Hello, my name is Beth Alden, born and raised in Greenfield, Mass (1943).
I have been working on my genealogy this past year. My family has
always used the "Memorial of the Descendants of the Hon. John
Alden" as our Genealogy Information, plus family records. I have since
found that a lot of the dates, and some birth orders are not correct and
in the process of correcting them.

I have a lot of info on my great grandfather William Newcomb Alden, but
would love any input that others might have. I do have his bible and
will and some other documents.

I am also seeking information on a John Freeman, father of Lucy Alice
Freeman (1865-1930). I can find nothing on him. Lucy married my
grandfather William Keith Alden.

John Freeman was married to Serepta R. Burgess 2/5/1835-7/5/1897.
Serepta was the daughter of
Resolved H. Burgess (8/8/1800-9/8/1862) and Susan Elbridge (or is it
Eldredge) (6/1/1865-10/1/1887) John and Serepta were married about 1855,
Rochester, Plymouth Co., Mass, according to the LDS church.
