Hello Bob and Maureen,

I was also told that it would involve a lot of red tape to get a copy of my
grandfather's records from the Westborough State Hospital. I had to ask
myself if it is worth the hastle and cost.

My family has inherited Type 1 and Type II diabetes. I was curious as to
whether my grandfather had diabetes, as reported by my father (Type 1) but
my grandfather's death certificate makes no mention of diabetes. My father
was only 8 years old when his father died. He probably did not know what
killed his father and believed what his elders told him was the cause.
